Print Regional Design Annual

Print Magazine issues three annual magazines, the Regional Design Annual, the Interactive Design Annual and the European Design Annual. Aside to their annual publications, Print issues up to six magazines per year.

Print’s Regional Design Annual 2009 combines the work of US-based graphic designers that have published any kind of printed communication in the US, they participate to be a part of the RDA competition.

Even though this magazine is based on imagery with minimal captions, it still includes interviews with the winners of the RDA competition to show where their inspiration comes from, plus interviews with a few designers who have inspired others. The judges of the competition are also interviewed here to sum up briefs about the work that is being generated in each region..

Its all about projects! Including one-on-one interviews with the designers, how the ideas came about and the process done until the design got finalised.

The magazine is full of inspiration, ideas, resources and excellent tips.

Computer Arts Magazine…

 

This has been one of my favortie magazines for a while now ! The day I get it is always a happy day..

The slogan Computer Arts carries is Inspiration, Technique and Great Design. In this magazine, interviews, showcases and behind the scene stories are covered from many parts of the world. Also, every month a design studio is covered in terms of its environment, acheivement and its people and their roles.

Not only does this magazine gives you insight on what is going on in the graphic world, but it also provides inspirational tutorial guides and techniques to many of the graphic design softwares.

I find it fun to flip through.. several times…
